Academic Work

During my time as a graduate student and experimental researcher, I worked on a variety of projects ranging from remote behavioral testing for older adults to conducting a departmental survey to improve the graduate student experience. DEI Climate Survey

The University of Arizona Psychology department wanted to conduct a climate survey to improve the graduate student experience. I took on the project and the results led to many direct changes. The survey is now annual.

Using a complex research design, we were able to simplify the analysis down to an ANOVA and show that older adults have different exploration preferences than young adults.

Exploration and Exploitation in Aging

This shows my Master's project comparing older and younger adults decision making bias when choosing whether to explore new choices or exploit choices they already know the value of.

Neural Activity During Decision-Making

During the NeuroMatch Computational Summer School I attended, I had the opportunity to use cutting-edge analyses to understand brain activity and present the results of our group project.

I was chosen to represent our group and present the results of our project for an audience of scholars who were unfamiliar with the data and techniques we used.
